While you were probably enjoying your Saturday or maybe sleeping in today I was hard at work (oh, only after a week off and another two days šŸ˜€ ) creating Expo 9 pages, editing/uploading 170 + pictures, (and way less videos) and writing a brief write up from March 27-29, 2015.

I may still write a more lengthy personal blog post from my experiences at Ghostbusters Expo 9. Either way, we invite you to experience or re-experience Jersey’s singular and unique martial arts and comic con!

Around the time of a much deserved vacation Bill wrote and authorized a case file to be added to our Cases section. I didn’t have enough time then to work with it. While some of the others are off in PA, (probably getting us involved in another lawsuit) I was finally able to put one of our biggest case files from March 2015 up. Continue reading

Since Friday I’ve been organizing photos and videos from Expo 9. Every photo we have has been shared either by us or con attendees to our Facebook page. As of early this afternoon I have 157 photos, (with more to be shared by others) along with multiple videos which will be uploaded to our YouTube channel.

I’ll be building Expo 9 page(s) to add a write up, photos, and videos. To share our memories. experiences, and for the longevity of Ghostbusters NJ.

Either during or post Expo 9 media updates additional site content will be added.

Thank you for your continued support.

Thank You Expo 9!

Please all give a huge warm welcome to legend Peter Mosen! (IMDB) Peter has built four Ghostbuster vehicles since the release of Ghostbusters. A 1966 Cadillac Ambulance, (ECTO 1 N.Y. license plate) and an actual 1959 Cadillac Ambulance. (Ecto 1 CA. & N.Y. plates) His 1966 Cadillac Ambulance (ECTO 1A CA. plate, vehicle now somewhere in Argentina) was reworked on. Peter’s fourth and present ECTO, aĀ 2000 Chevy Impala (ECTO 1A N.Y. plates).

Three of theseĀ have been used to promote the GHOSTBUSTERSā„¢ franchise for Columbia Pictures, a Sony Pictures company for both Ghostbusters and Ghostbusters II. Peter Mosen has won awards for over 22 Costume competitions since 1978, including Best Villian in the ReCreation Class for his Klingon Warrior at the 1984 World Sci-Fi Con in Los Angeles. Others include C3PO & R2D2, Cylon & Daggit, Darth Vader and Alien.

On Sept. 30, 1987, The Entertainment Department at Universal Studios Tour awarded Peter the “Rookie Of The Year” status for their Character Strollers.

In Ghostbusters II (1989), Peter appears as the date of the Slimed Restaurant Patron played by Judy Ovitz. Peter was a Ghostbusters superfan who used to do promotional work as a Ghostbuster, complete with his own Ecto-1 replica, for Columbia Pictures and NOW Comics back in the 1980s. He was profiled in The Real Ghostbusters Magazine, Fall 1990 issue.

Peter Mosen is the Godfather of Ghostbusters props!

This is an honor and a privilege to have him at our GBNJ table atĀ Expo Martial Arts Comic Con 9.
